Sometimes things get a bit more complicated when both the township and residents forget which roads are public and which ones are private. On the one hand, residents living on private roads can legally restrict others from using them, but they are also responsible for paying for road maintenance and snow removal. LOWER MERION – Lower Merion has a lot of private roads within the township’s borders.
